Head of Sales - UK, Spotify


Rak joined Spotify last October and is in charge of the advertising sales in the UK.

Having been in the digital arena for over fourteen years, he has worked closely with both the media and creative agency worlds.

Starting his digital journey in 2003 at the Financial Times, he helped curate some of the progressive way of digital thinking at the world famous publisher. Rak spent his formative years at EMAP (Bauer) holding a number of roles across magazines, exhibitions and classified, all helping to build a strong foundation for his media sales career.

Before Spotify, he was responsible for the display advertising revenue ambitions at Auto Trader and prior to that spent seven years in management positions at Microsoft.

As the father of four children, when he’s not at work, he finds himself at the mercy of his kids demands…..
