Sophie Robinson

Chief Marketing Officer, Shortlist Media


As CMO, Sophie oversees the planning, development and execution of Shortlist Media’s marketing and partnership initiatives. She also takes ownership of content studio the Shortlist Media Family, the events division, which includes Stylist Live, and all trade and consumer marketing initiatives for the business.

Previously creative director at Metro, Sophie was responsible for developing a strategic planning model with creativity at its heart. Having joined in 2001, she worked her way up through the commercial department taking the lead on strategy and planning, before being appointed creative director in 2011.

During her tenure at Metro, Sophie set up ‘Story’, an in-house ideation and content agency where she oversaw all commercial content and insight. Alongside her revenue responsibilities, Sophie also headed up the marketing department, both for trade and consumer.
