Steve Goodman is now Managing Director of Print Trading at GroupM, initially started work at The Media Buisness and latterly MediaCom following a merger. He is responsible for managing press buying services across all of the WPP Media Agencies, including MediaCom, Mindshare, Wavemaker and Essence. He has been trading in the print market for over 35 years and has experience in media planning and buying but now increasingly in the field of digital editions and web sites of magazines and newspapers. He is also experienced in account management. In 2007 he was elected as the sole representative of the IPA on the new National Readership Survey board, and served on that board for 3 years. He is on the board of the ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations). Steve chairs the IPA board of Agency Press directors, and in 2009 was elected a Fellow of the IPA. Campaign magazine has listed Steve as one of the Top Ten media negotiators in the UK.
